Giulia Pellegrini (Valenza, 1990) is an artist and environmental advocate. She holds a Bachelor’s degree with honour in Painting and Visual Arts, earned in 2014, and a Master’s degree with distinction in Visual Arts and Curatorial Studies, obtained in 2016, both from the New Academy of Fine Arts (NABA) in Milan.
Her artistic practice is dedicated to merging art with education, focusing on raising awareness about critical environmental issues. Through her visual art, she strives to distil complex scientific concepts into accessible and immersive experiences that encourage the public to contemplate pressing environmental challenges and engage in ecological solutions.
Her art is defined by experiential spaces that allow visitors to connect deeply with her messages. She exclusively uses natural textiles dyed with plant-based pigments as a testament to her commitment to environmentally friendly materials. She believes in creating beauty without harming the planet, promoting responsible use of natural resources, and reducing the ecological footprint. Her works emphasize the profound interrelationship between the environment and humanity, emphasizing the need for a collective response to the environmental challenges we face.
