Alessandra Odoni was born in Bergamo in 1977. Already during her studies at the artistic high school of the Lombard city she began her journey in the graffiti writing scene first and, subsequently, in street art. In those years she initiated a dialogue with local institutions aimed at identifying spaces intended to host interventions of mural art. Thus was born the project "Urban Traces" still active in Bergamo.
During the years of the Academy of Fine Arts, in the context of studies focused on conceptual art, she developed various performance and visual art projects.
In 2001 she completed her studies at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts in Milan and spent a year studying in Budapest. She was then selected for the Advanced Course of Visual Art of the Antonio Ratti Foundation in Como curated by Giacinto di Pietrantonio and Angela Vettese.
In Milan she spends nine years during which frequent trips to Italy and Europe allow her to participate in events, conventions and exhibitions as well as to collaborate with various companies both nationally and internationally.
In 2011 she joined a collective in Berlin. In the German capital she established contacts with countless artists from all over the world.
She dedicates herself to painting, screen printing and collage, preferring as a support, in addition to paper, obsolete objects such as parts of old furniture and windows.
Ale Senso is attracted to stories, she absorbs them, re-elaborates them and, sometimes, merges them and then transfers them into the environment with symbolic and dreamlike forms. She plays with the space, the different surfaces and their peculiarities creating a meticulously studied yet spontaneous balance.
The sinuous lines, the harmony of the features reflect the formal research that underlies all her works.
The human being and his relationship both with his own interiority and with the nature that surrounds him are among the key topics of her work.
The backgrounds of her paintings and walls are abstractly soiled with a personal technique that involves the reaction of different components, such as spray and acrylic paint with water, glues and wood varnishes, exploiting the mutual insolubility of the reagents.
