Nata ShaNelOriginally from the beautiful Russian city of St Petersburg, she relocated to Cape Town, South Africa in 2013. She qualified with a Master’s degree in Law and successfully ran her own legal practice in St Petersburg for 10 years, but her move to Cape Town saw a radical change in career ambition and interest. She has been studying fine art for three years and is pursuing a career as an artist.She paints in watercolor, ink, oil, acrylic and encaustic. She loves abstraction, as it allows her to express her mood or feelings to others. You will see this in drips and splatters in colors bleeding into her flowers, cityscapes and pouring out of her abstracts.Her art, it is self-expression, Her vision of the world, Her passions interwoven.
