Nausika Papatheodorou,
greek graphic and installation artist.
I am 25 years old and I live between Athens and french countryside. I am a graduate of 7 years of study at the School of Fine Arts in Thessaloniki, Greece. There I mastered the artisanal techniques of printing, linocut, woodcut, lithography and especially drypoint and aquatint, on which I experimented quite a bit, creating a mixed media, printmaking installation exhibition for my master degree. I have been attending courses at VSVU University/AFAD - Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava, and I am currently creating a sound archive, by travelling and exploring installative and performative aspects of the so- called ‘’traditional’’ art of manual Printmaking.
I speak french and english as if they were my native languages, and linguistics, agriculture and apiculture are my other fields of work. I would like to take an oportunity to set foot in the artistic field, to work and collaborate, to finally transport my local artistic experience to a new environment.
