I am a French artist photographer born in Lyon on 01 April 1977.
All my work is rooted in the exploration of light.
States of Light - States of Matter
Through my photographic series, I engage in a meticulous quest for luminous phenomena and
their multiple manifestations.
My 'Abrasion' series "States of Light" is a journey into the decomposition of the spectrum of white light,
often invisible to the naked eye.
This series explores the genesis of light and its interaction with water and air, revealing intimate
and mysterious aspects of our environment.
In my work, I use the colour histogram to establish an analogy between a place and
its environment.
It's a process that transcends the visual aspects to offer a deeper reflection on
the relationship between light and space.
My monochrome series entitled 'Dark Light' "States of Matter" looks at the dichotomy between light and
darkness.
Here, I work with the slider of luminosity to create compositions where light and darkness meet,
generate textures, surfaces and volumes that question our visual perception.
Through the histogram of luminance, I explore the creation of materials,
bridging the gap between states of light and states of matter.
My work is not just about capturing images, but also about deciphering and revealing the hidden
layers of light, transforming each photograph into a tactile and
visual exploration of the fundamental elements that make up our world.
My approach to light as a primary medium enables me to create works that
enrich our understanding of natural elements, while offering a singular artistic perspective on
the interactions between light, matter and perception.

These series are printed on 0.5 cm thick transparent Plexiglas.
This contemporary support adds a slight depth to the image, faithfully respecting the luminosity and colors captured at the time of shooting.
A contemporary support that acts as the last lens of my photographic lens before reaching the diaphragm of the viewer's eye, the ultimate actor.
