Kevan is an artist and an architect. He explores the personal and the universal relationships of people in spaces both internal and physical.

After many years as creative director of an international architectural practice, Kevan is now devoting his full time to his passion for painting and printmaking.

Kevan’s work reflects a journey of rediscovery and reinvention: his geographical and emotional relocation from an all-consuming career to a life offering opportunities for self-reflection and redefinition has elicited substantial turmoil and an examination of his essential purpose in a changing world.

He works in an interactive relationship between artist and artwork with very little predetermined narrative or outcome.

The medium,either thick oils or mixed media ,enters into a dialogue with the artist and suggests the process of discovery.

Found shapes ,suggested shadows and unexpected relationships react to his partly subconscious intentions and the visceral power of gravity, fire,viscosity and texture.

 He has held a series of successful exhibitions, with the highlights being the inclusion of  paintings in:
