Rosa Morganti was born in Rome on 2 January 1944. She is a direct descendant, on her mother's side, of the famous painter and mathematician Luca Carlevarijs from the 1600s, considered the forerunner of Canaletto and the other Venetian vedutisti. She began studying painting at the age of 5. At the age of 7, she received high praise for standing out among her peers, participating in her first group exhibition and bringing her first oil paintings. Subsequently, she began to broaden her knowledge, studying the nude and the physiognomy of the human body, the chiaroscuro technique and watercolour painting. At the age of 16, she had her first work experience as a draughtsman for the Mom Selle fashion house while continuing her academic studies. He perfected his painting techniques by studying portraits and even better nudes, participating in a high school painting course held at the Enalc school in Via del Corso in Rome, graduating with top marks with a cash prize and medal. In 1967, he made a portrait of Pope John XXIII and later donated it to a Franciscan father. To this day, the portrait is on permanent display in the museum of the Monastery of St Francis in Bellegra and has been blessed by Pope Francis. In 1978, she was commissioned to carry out a major restoration of Michelangelo Buonarroti's house in Rome, where he historically lived while frescoing the Sistine Chapel. At the age of 68, she did a thorough job as a furniture designer for an important Swiss family. To this day, she continues to create works of art that are in great demand and appreciated by the public.
