Morena Mirandawww.morenamiranda.comBuenos Aires, Argentinamorena.miranda72@gmail.comPhone: +5491158096456BioBorn in 1972, since childhood, drawing and painting have been part of my life in an amateur format. Accountant by profession and with more than 25 years of experience in multinational companies of massive consume sector, I have managed in the last 7 years to find the way to devote more time to art and balance my professional interests with my personal desires. My art education includes attending drawing and painting training workshops with different techniques (Claudia Lentino, 2011-13), drawing and watercolor (Ernesto Pelle, AAMBA, 2014-15), photography course (Javier Mazzeo, National University of the Arts, 2016), photography work clinic (Javier Mazzeo, 2017- present). In summary, my artistic education is a kind of study, practice and learning in action. Experimentation is, perhaps, the tool that I like to use most, together with light and darkness. Finally, I want to mention that I have a Master in Organizational Studies, held at the University of San Andres of Argentina, where my thesis “Eso que no se sabe que es pero se busca aprender: Artistas en Clínica de Obra” (“That which is not known but seeks to learn: Artists in Work Clinic”), My thesis that was Honorable Mention in the 2017 graduation, explores the generation of knowledge in work clinic dynamics, and where part of my field work was carried out with interviews and observations in Cazadores de Arte work clinics thanks to the kindness and support of Myriam Jawerbaum who provided me access to the institution and faculty (2016-2017).Personal perspectiveArt in all its expressions, leads me to think in a medium to generate sensitivity. My photographic different proposals are the result of my personal review, topics that interest me to explore and transform. My photographs are not modified with photoshop or similar techniques, this being a choice when defining the technique to be used. I am interested in exploring the frontiers of light, darkness and transformation in order to rescue and reuse materials and situations with no visible value, to propose a new aesthetic, through intervention and photographic technique. On my website: www.morenamiranda.com is available a selection of my photographic works made during 2017 and 2018.
