My life and work span a double cultural life lived on both sides of the Atlantic; the tension inherent in my adaptation to two cultures both feeds and informs my imagery. My environment becomes a part of me as I travel through it. 

I was born and grew up in England where I received my adult art education which culminated in post graduate studies at The Royal Academy of Arts London. I emigrated to the United States where I have since made my home.

I have exhibited extensively in Britain, and the U.S.A., and I have work in both private and corporate collections on both sides of the Atlantic.  At the end of my graduate studies at The Royal Academy of Art, London, I had the unusual experience of having one of my paintings bought by the artist Francis Bacon.
