In addition to being a photographer, I am also a doctor with 32 years of practice, of which 29 are
dedicated to diagnostic imaging through ultrasound. My practice was complemented with a
master's and PhD at the Faculty of Medicine of Federal University of Minas Gerais, when I was
able to deep in the studies of the ultrasonography. I also attended an MBA at Fundação Getúlio
Vargas in partnership with the Medical Association of Minas Gerais. As the son of a
photographer, I always appreciated the image obtained on the equipment from an aesthetic point
of view, besides the diagnosis. In the performing arts, I acted as an actor, co-authored two
theater plays, and also I worked as assistant director at various theatrical performances.
My trajectory in photography began in childhood through the influence of my father, through
the countless works that he presented to us. Approximately 30 years ago a deepening was begun
through theoretical foundation with my first basic course at the Guignard School, extending to
the last years with courses at the School of Fine Arts of Federal University of Minas Geris (UFMG), such as Photoshop, Basic Digital
Photography, Flash and Authoral Photography, the latter finalized with a collective exhibition in
Studio 300 - Studio and School of Photography. I did several photography courses at Center for Studies Photography, Art and Culture (Núcleo FAC). In 2017, I held an exhibition at
the Art Gallery of the Legislative Assembly of Minas Gerais, Brazil, in August and at the Cultural Space
Otto Cirne of the Medical Association of Minas Gerais, Brazil, during the month of October. In 2018 I held an exhibition at Signal Arts Centre, in Bray, Ireland. I participated of:
