Alexandre Mann was born in 2009 in Paris, France and lives there. 

His painting is a personal gestural vocabulary, obsessive and rigorous of curving lines, shapes and colors. There is no room for chance.

His artworks are an expression of his body, his spirit always in excessive movement. For him, paint is like a liberation. It's like a release of all the energy he has in him. "It is like breathing for me". 

Painting, creating gives him extreme joy, a plenitude. When he paints nothing else matters.

He manipulates fluid dynamics to create his work, whether it is a conscious decision or not. 

He uses a combined array of paint techniques, including hand painting, dripping, pouring or splashing liquid paint onto a horizontal surface to create filaments of color. 

He always works the canvas on the ground. 

He also produces works including materials on the surface of the canvas, such as wood, pearls, pine cones...
