Abongile Majeke is a male artist from South Africa, aged 30, who has been in the art filed for over 10 years. He was also groomed by the Walter Sisulu University in 2011 to 2013. Where I studied National Diploma in Fine Art. He was involved in group exhibitions with Walter Sisulu University which were held at the Ann Art Gallery in East London in South Africa from 2011 to 2013 and at the Grahamstown Art Festival 2011 to 2013 when he was a student. He have worked with various organisations, Namely Nelson Mandela Museum in 2019 which was the celebration of 25 years of democracy which was sponsored by the Walter Sisulu University and was a group exhibition. He has done a portrait of Nelson Mandela which was a commission for Walter Sisulu University. He was involved in a group exhibition which was held at the State of the Province Address (SOPA) at Bisho in 2020. Mr Majeke did a project for Ubank which was a commission of three works for their offices from 2021-2022. He also did murals for two pre-schools one at iDutywa and one at Butterworth from 2020-2021. Worked with iNgcobo Fm where he did a fabric mural for their studios. Also worked with Amazwi Museum for the PESP, where he did a mural, completed it on the 20th of March 2022. Had another commission for Walter Sisulu University to create artworks for the Farewell of Justice Jafta (which were Justice Jafta, Justice Maya and Justice Madlanga). He have done a number of commissions for natural persons other than organisation or institutions.
