LIU JEN-TA Liu Jen-ta, formerly known as Lin Jin-da, was born in Kaohsiung, Taiwan in 1983. He graduated from the Tainan National University of the Arts (MFA) in 2010, and currently resides in Taipei where he specializes in museum design and works in video and novel creation. Liu's works have been exhibited in numerous cities, including Berlin, New York, Lyon, Seoul, Ho Chi Minh and Taipei. In 2006, Liu Jen-ta, Yu Cheng-che and others co-founded the NO/, a mountaineering club that originated from an online forum. Over the last decade, based on travels through mountains, valleys, coasts and ruins, a series of fine and ingenious nature technology was develop, which through online collaborative writing and editing, subsequently became a museum methodology. From 2012 to 2014, Liu built the Platform Movie, a private cinema on a top floor apartment next to the Shilin MRT Station. In 2017, he began to re-word An Annual Report on the Public Aquarium to construct a memoir of an aquarium. Through years of creative practice, he carefully disassembled and reorganized the public places, people, events and materials in his real life and memory. He often deliberately blurs the boundaries between historical timeline and geographic locations to describe the entire world as a huge system of countless memories that continue to collide, aggregate, react and disappear.Solo Exhibitions2017- An Annual Report on the Public Aquarium-Huei-Shiang Bistro,Taipei/Taiwan2012-2014 Platform Movie-Platform Movie apartment,Taipei/TaiwanGroup Exhibitions2018 he´-Taipei Cultural Center,New York / United States2017 FOGSTAND &&&&&&-Furlong Gallery,University of Wisconsin-Stout /United States Shattered Sanctity-MOCA Taipei /Taiwan Brandon Cramm + Lin Jin-Da-Fogstand Gallery,Hualien/Taiwan2015 Dream hatched Theater II, Century Contemporary Dance Company, Taipei/Taiwan2014 Cross-Strait Young Artists Exhibition Program/Taipei: The Lost Garden, ESLITE GALLERY, Taipei/Taiwan2012 South country,South of Country-Hol gallery,Tainan/Taiwan ,Zero Station,Saigon/Vietnam2011 TAIWANALE-tamtamArt gallery,Berlin/Germany2010 Formose Cinema – Rencontre du film Taiwanais-6e CONTINENT,Lyon/French2009 POSTO- the reverse of Topos-MOCA Taipei /Taiwan 2008 Asia Students and Young Artists Art Festival-Seoul Railway Station Old Building/ Korea
