Ajin Lee has received M.F.A. and M.A. with Design in Seoul and London. She has been working on artworks since a solo exhibition in 2018 to focus on creative expressions. The main topics of her interests are identity, perception, and presence. She is exploring how to resist external forces trying to control her through fundamental elements for people's lives such as clothes, space, and foods. She shows the inner experience as an individual, but she looks at the other side of the surroundings in regard to the social system and customs. Even though she is a performance artist, she does not define the body and uses it as an implement to express. She solely investigates the society she recognizes and the existence of ‘I’ in society. Since 2019, she has been working in Turkey, India, New York, and Spain so far. She is still going on her arts to carry out Nomadic Project.
