I was born in Chungnam (South Korea)
in 1968 and I was raised in a family that loves music. I graduated from the
Catholic University of South Korea with a bachelor’s degree in Music in 1993.
That same year I arrived in France to continue studies : I graduated with a
master’s degree in musicology from the University of Lyon II (1995).
In order to pursue my studies, I started
a DEA centered on the 20th century music at the University of Paris
IV.
I began to see music through the
works of Erik Satie and the INA – GRM workshop during my studies.
The reason why I started to create art works is to
find myself in links and relationships, giving them a basic definition :
In the partial, selective and accidental understanding the world of choice,
influence, limit and chance:
I see what I listen, I listen what I see.
For the first time, my works were
exhibited in 2017 at the 22nd Concours de l'Espace Christiane Peugeot
(Paris).
