I was born in Barcelona in 1974 where I studied painting and illustration at the Massana and Llotja schools respectively. Years later I traveled to Basel with the commission to carry out the murals and trompe l'oeil for the entire interior of the Drachen hotel. After four months in the Swiss city, I settled in Paris where I lived for three and a half years. There I made contact with the world of Parisian art and further developed my personal work. I returned to Barcelona where I stayed for eight years until in 2012 I traveled and settled in Berlin where I currently live and where in 2016 I finished and presented the film "Auf dem Weg". In 2019, the French government commissioned me to carry out the frescoes for the church "L'Annunciata" by Pianottoli in Corsica, France, where I painted its 31 m2. During my artistic career I have exhibited in different cities around the world, as well as made artistic works of various kinds. I am currently producing the documentary about the pictorial process along with the personal experience involved in making mural paintings in a church in the 21st century. My work explores the notion of the human being. Through my portraits or through my figures, I deal with the subject of the human being, working from realism to suggestive decompositions and representations. I represent men and women, together or separately with an unlimited knowledge of the documentation of the human. I show them both with a look that goes from the depth, essential and intimate of the individual to a broader perspective of the human race. My portraits show that my passion for painting revolves around, not only my interest in the human figure, but more specifically the individual. My pictorial construction is in its own space between cubism, futurism, surrealism or expressionism.
