Darío Lanza holds a PhD with International Doctorate in Information and Communication Technologies and works as Professor at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Complutense University of Madrid (Spain). He combines his professional dedication as a Professor and researcher with his exploration of generative art and the new digital technologies as a vehicle for the production of images. His work, in which he investigates the aesthetic potential of digital technologies, has been exhibited in numerous solo and group exhibitions in art galleries in New York, Los Angeles, London, Athens, Hong Kong and Cardiff.
His latest project, Catharsis, is a long-form NFT generative art collection (999 pieces) inspired by the passion and energy of the abstract expressionists, that includes several innovations seen here for the first time on the whole NFT generative art context. It was released in September 2022 with a huge international success of critics and collectors.
