I was born on October 26, 1987 in the small town of Zestaponi, in Soviet Georgia.
Georgia gained independence in 1991. When I was 5 years old, civil war broke out in the country. The legal government was overthrown and, according to an interpretation of the situation, the president committed suicide.
I grew up with the idea of becoming a pianist. So I spent my childhood with the piano, intensively for about 11 years, at the same time I liked to draw and paint and worked with different materials.
I came to the capital when I was 14. I continued my education in the music high school, where I received a very good musical education.
From 2007 I studied classical painting at the State Academy of Fine Arts in Tbilisi. While searching for myself, I switched lecturers, groups and studios. I was at odds with myself as well as with the environment. I was always looking for something new.
During my studies I met my wife, a Swiss artist, and I have been living in Bern since 2012. We have two children.
In 2015 I started studying contemporary art at the University of the Arts in Bern, which I completed in 2018. The learning process turned out to be very interesting and brought me joy. During this time my artistic language developed and improved.
In 2011 I had my first own exhibition in Tbilisi.
I have participated in various group exhibitions in Georgia and Switzerland.
