Tania Kitsou has been born and raised in Kastoria, Greece.
Studied painting and theatre in USA, Italy, Netherlands and Malta.
l She presented three solo exhibitions and took part in several group exhibitions (Amsterdam, Utrecht, The Hague)
l She was in charge of the artistic direction in four theatre festivals in Italy and Greece. ( Tieffeu '95- Sezione Proteo, Momenti '96-2000-'01, 1st European Theatre Festival for Groups of Psychological Issues” -Thessaloniki Cultural Capital of Europe 1997, “Medieval and Byzantine Festival of Kastoria” 2012-'13).
l She directed over fifty theatre plays and four digital short films, that have been performed in Italy, Greece, Germany, Czech Republic, Belgium, Malta and Egypt, often praised by the critics,
l She took part in many congresses and run workshops as theatre educator internationaly.
l She was project manager in the EU projects “Youth for Europe “ - “Youth in Action”, “Creative Europe”.
l She was educator and trainer in many art schools and Institutions for Mental Health in Italy, Germany and Greece.
l Since 2001 she lives in Greece and instituted Research Theatre Group “FrACTals”
having performances, projects and workshops in Greece (Thessaloniki- Athens etc.) as well as in Greek, European and International Festivals ( see.
