Kim

I'm Aiko Kim. I am Korean and was born in Japan. I'm a sculptor.
I create works that embody my mental images on the human body and other objects.
I graduated from Osaka University of Arts Japan(2011), but I am self-taught in sculpture.
In 2024, my bronze sculpture was installed in a park south of JR Nada Station in Japan.
In 2021, I won the London International creative competition, Create (Art)-Professional Finalist award. I have also won numerous awards in competitions overseas and in Japan, including the Excellence Award in the sculpture category at the Geoje International Arts Festival held at the Haegungang Theme Museum Yugyeong Museum of Art in Korea. I have also exhibited in Venice and Paris.
I have 10 years of experience as an art teacher at high schools in Hyogo Prefecture. In addition, I have my own art program on Internet TV and radio, and I am involved in activities such as motivating relationship and involvement of art and fine arts education and art and culture with society.
