Asia Khai

Asia, born in Russia, live in Finland. 

I used to start drawing in local Art school in my childhood and once realized that I’m consistently interested in reflecting female characters, their visuality. 

After studies I decided to have an internship in fashion magazine as stylist assistant, because clothes for me is a powerful tool for the transmission of the ideas and feelings. During the photoshoots I participated as intern I had took the pictures of backstages and started to get interested in photography. 

After internship, I put more effort into photography and arranged photoshoots myself. 

Now I’m working on my personal project: exploring and documenting females and observing the theme of feminity.
