Concon Sakura is a Japan-based artist working across painting, photography, and picture books. Her practice centers on the dot as a unit of life, exploring how presence, relation, and cycles emerge through accumulation, distance, and space.
In her works, a single point may suggest an individual life, while gathered or dispersed points reveal the fragile structures through which living beings exist together. White space is not treated as an empty background, but as an open field where breath, perception, and relationship become visible.
Through minimal forms, Sakura seeks to create works in which love, memory, and the movement of existence can be felt before they are explained.
