Creativity has been part of my life since 1998, when I began my studies at the Painting Department of the Kaunas Faculty of the Vilnius Academy of Arts. Painting has always been my primary field, while graphic design developed alongside it. For more than 27 years, I have worked with form, color, and composition — this has become not only my profession but also my way of seeing the world.
In my painting, I intentionally choose abstraction. It allows me to move away from recognizable objects and focus on emotion and process. Color, texture, and layered paint are my key tools. I often incorporate fragments of leather, fabric, or other materials to enhance the physical depth and structure of the surface. I am particularly interested in the painting process itself — the formation of texture, the interaction of layers, and the spontaneous outcomes that emerge during creation.
