Joshua
Nijiati Alimujiang

Joshua studied civil engineering and archgitectural design at Southwest Jiaotong University (China) and Shibaura Institute of Technology (Japan). He’s a member of American Society of Civil Engineers since 2021. He’s now an M.Phil. in computational media and arts at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and also serving as a member of Diversity and Equal Opportunities Commitee at HKUST(GZ) participating in community’s sustainable development since 2023. 

Born and raised in Urumqi, Joshua creates. His work focuses on exploring a breadth of architecture and combining various fields of multimedia with art expression in the hope of breaking traditional boundaries and create convincing visual languages. Previous designs and artworks were exhibited in the United States, Austria, Singapore, and Japan.
