Describing art is like describing life, I don't know how to describe it. Things just happen to you in life and paintings are just created in the same way.

I find there are only a few artists that have been great and influential to me: Basquiat, Francis Bacon, Picasso, Klimt

I think that their works are so interesting to me that I would like to try and do something good too. It is very hard to get there and it is hard to tell if it ever happens. I think you can think of having possibly done something great. However you could not tell other people that your work is great that is their judgement. It would be like telling people you are beautiful. Only time will tell.
