I explore the mechanisms of human relations – with other humans as well as non-human agents and the environment. I am interested in the imprint of historical and cultural context on the forms of modern relationships. Three major themes in my recent work are (non)violence, feminism and ecology.

The preferred medium of my artistic expression is installation and performance. Having trained in vocals and playing cello over the years, I use music and esp. my own vocals often in my performative practice. I consider it vital to reveal the deep and varying aspects of any theme I work with, and so I use graphics and digital art – tools I acquired in during university – as well. 

Especially as I work with social themes, dialogue is important in form but also in content of my work as I try to get the audience involved as much as possible.
