BIO

Marco Goi was born in Viadana (Mantova) in 1991, His projects are the outcome of simple creative ideas, in which the play of visual associations is able to create universal language solutions. He currently lives in Casalmaggiore where he works in art, graphic designer and cinema.

STATEMENT

My personal research is mainly related to historical, philosophical and religious issues. From these sources, I find several patterns of constants, perhaps altered, but still valid today. I think that the imaginative work of tomorrow is easier if one perceives the stratification of yesterday. In my painting practice, I investigate the forms that emerge from the past and ultimately make choices by relating my research to my personal intimate space. - Marco Goi
