Alexander Sergeyevich Frolov. I was born on 17th June, 1980 in the city of Kaluga, Russian Federation. I graduated from school, Electronic Industry Vocational School and Kaluga State Pedagogical University, majoring in social work management. I became interested in photography on the second try. My first attempt at the age of ten ended in a complete fiasco. It appeared to me then as the most boring occupation. My interest in photography was re-awakened thanks to a talented teacher of criminology at the Law College, which I never finished. However, I acquired knowledge about the basic principles of photography, crucial for me today and, most importantly, a powerful motivation for my own development in this direction. In 2002 I got my hands on a rangefinder camera FED. But photography for me was still a hobby, an avocation. In 2006 I bought a digital SLR camera and decided to start selling my photo services, thus engaging in wedding and family photography. Commercial photography required high professional level. This served as another impetus to continue studying photography; I attended various master classes and courses focused on shooting in different genres and photo processing. For several years I combined office work in different roles with the work of a photographer. In the autumn of 2018 I decided to give up all other roles and fully devote myself to photography. I have never limited myself to work exclusively in one genre of photography and have never focused entirely on one of the directions. I am equally attracted to advertising, fashion, food, street photography, photojournalism, wedding and family photography. Currently I am pursuing my own creative projects along with commercial photography assignments.
