imperfect is a communication studio founded in Turin by Alberto Bonetti and Madeleine Frochaux in 2009.
We mainly deal with visual identity, illustration and web & social for companies and agencies and cultural and social realities.
We are among the founders of associations and other artistic projects such as:
That’s a Mole, a cultural association that develops the homonymous international call for illustration and urban exhibition along via Montebello in Turin.
Circolarte, a cultural association that develops artistic projects of social utility characterized by the return of art to the community, including the #carnetitinerante (2016) and Pagina37 (2019) projects.
The name "imperfect" is inspired by the oriental philosophy of wabi-sabi applied to design: the search for the beauty of imperfection, the detachment from the idea of absolute perfection to rediscover the beauty of an intuitive and spontaneous creation, rich in originals in its mutability.

Il nome "imperfect" deriva dalla filosofia orientale del wabi-sabi applicata al design: la ricerca della bellezza dell’imperfezione, il distacco dall’idea di perfezione assoluta per riscoprire la bellezza di una creazione intuitiva e spontanea, ricca di originali nella sua mutevolezza.
