I started painting whilst living in Washington DC at the beginning of the 1990s. Back in London, I took evening classes in live drawing and painting at Central St Martins. Now I paint mainly abstracts and landscapes. Some of my recent paintings were inspired by the places I lived, like China. Now, as the blue series shows, I live in the mountains in Switzerland.  I am a Trustee of the UK charity Children of the Mekong and the proceeds from the sale of my paintings go to this charity. www.childrenofthemekong.org  I previously worked in microfinance as well as in investment and development banking.
