Born on 5th March 1967 in S. Martin Passiria, a village in South Tirol in the Alps of north Italy, she is the third-born child of a family of eight, which includes the father, an independent carpenter, the mother, a nurse, and six children. Both her father’s handcrafted activity and mother’s nature awareness, as well as the countryside lifestyle influenced her artistic expression. Tools like wire and trowel that she uses in an autodidactic and experimental way became essential. She decided to choose basically the abstract form in order to capture aspects or scenes at the emotional level. She considers her paintings as the transposition of emotional energies into the material world. Energetic pulses are carried over the canvas, drafting and spreading the mixed color pigments until, for her awareness, they result in a harmonic arrangement and overlapping. Her aim is to express holistic correlations of the intuitive knowledge.
