MY name Samson Ikechukwu Ekwubiri. I studied fine and Applied Arts at the institute of management and Technology IMT Enugu in Nigeria. I specialized in painting.
Upon graduation in 1991, I established my own Art Gallery - the African Treasures Arts Gallery in 1992. The gallery provided a platform for artists in Nigeria and Africa as a continent to showcase there art works.
In 1991, I developed an art style I named mosaic painting. This is the use of flat brush to create a mosaic like effect on canvas. A reflection of this style is in my entries for the Artelaguna exhibition.
I draw my inspection from happenings around me. And use my art to sensitized the masses to be conscious of there environment and make a positive change. My mixed media paintings featured in my debut ( Spring of Creativity ) exhibition in 1988, mirrors on the aforementioned. The paintings are titled " The crying dancers" and stealing from a beggar"
Art is the mirror that reflects the past, the present and future of mankind
