Born in 1969 in Sanok, Poland, she lives and works in Cracow. She graduated with first-class honours from the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow and is a member of the Association of Polish Artists and Designers. With several scholarships and competition awards under her belt, she attends numerous symposia and open-air sculpture workshops both in Poland and abroad. She is also an active contributor to exhibitions and other artistic events. She creates small, monumental and outdoor sculptures. Depending on the scale and theme of the project, her work uses a variety of materials, such as metal, stone, wood, clay, plaster or textile, including ready-made products that gain a new meaning in the process. Her themes feature references to existence and humanity, with her scope of subjects expanded recently with organic geometry in the present work entitled “The Power of an Element”.
