My name is Sheeba Dhillon, though in the art world, I’m known as Yoon Miyaki Dhillon. I am the founder of Yeonghon Hwansang Art and Ethereal Dark Art Studio, where I bring my deepest thoughts and experiences to life through art. My creative journey began not with grand plans, but with a quiet desire to express the things words could never capture—grief, transformation, the fleeting beauty of life, and the shadows we all carry within us.
I’ve always felt a connection to the darker, often overlooked side of existence—the places where sorrow meets beauty, where life and death intertwine. Art became my sanctuary, a way to explore those realms and give form to what I felt but couldn’t say. Over the years, my style evolved into a unique blend of dark art, mandalas, and organic hand-drawn works, each piece reflecting a fragment of my journey.
There were moments when art was my anchor, especially during times of uncertainty and loss. It helped me transform pain into something tangible, something I could share with the world. Mandala art became my meditation—a way to find balance and harmony in chaos—while dark art allowed me to embrace and honor the shadows that have shaped me.
In Yeonghon Hwansang Art, I explore many artistic expressions, but Ethereal Dark Art Studio is my soul’s true home. It’s where I delve into Gothic and ethereal themes, crafting pieces that invite viewers to pause, reflect, and find beauty in the unconventional.
I work with both traditional and digital mediums, constantly shifting between the tactile pleasure of pen on paper and the endless possibilities of digital creation. Each piece is a story—sometimes a quiet reflection, other times a bold expression of emotion and transformation.
Art, for me, is about connection—between light and dark, past and present, soul and world. My hope is that through my work, you’ll discover a small part of your own story too.
