Keys to the content and interpretation of presented paintings. General concept.
The “until now” period is exceptionally interesting in a life of every person. I believe that one should not write an autobiography until one would nearly reach journey's end. I am more excited with other people’s lives, because they are like vectors displaying areas of knowledge, experience and possibilities. There are many ways to bate one’s curiosity. One of the simplest and the most efficient is the “Q&A session”. A couple of unrelated questions, as it may seem to the partner in conversation, and a querist will be either (un)satisfied and stop a conversation or will nourish his faith in humanity by a hairbreadth at least. This approach as all my work are aimed at “quality research”.
An image of life is clear and stable for many people. Substance is meaningful. Everything has its name, definition, long-present functionality and place in time and space. Everyone organizes hierarchy of significance od any substance in one’s head instinctively. This approach rests upon the collected information in the first place, because substance in our consciousness has the simplest caricature imprints in the shape of certain color forms. The comprehensive study of this process is reflected in my art research directly.
I set myself a goal to get rid of habitual and common characteristics in the near future. In the description of implemented elements, I would like to use such images as a shadow from a chair/table/human, architectural cascade and creation of averaged space between vibrant accents, merging into indiscrete mass of playing animals, reflections of items combined into one painting with an easel, a mug containing more than ten visible parallel circles and many others. Let’s be clear, all of those images I mentioned above are my reconsidered observations. In plain language their names will sound like chair, house, animals, shadows.
The ultimate outcome suggests the creation of such spaces that would not be comfortable at first appearance, but would transform into such after further consideration. Assuming that a spectator got rid of emotions and started to think. In doing so I “neutralize” a spectator and motivate him/her to make a new visual breakthrough. The conventional meaning has another function in here: objects are not finished in the conventional sense, mind tries to bring to a conclusion, to understand the observed, to digest information. Right here one should release the conventional part and accept something new. Only at the next stage a spectator can take an unbiased look at an image. Reality gets into a game released from the experience. The rest depends only on you. So-called “scope of possibilities”.
Elements, reconsidered by me, combine and generate something curious with every new painting. They convey ideas in the form of puzzle. The rules and final of that puzzle are defined by a spectator. He/she supports works with knowledge, logic and common sense. All of it is necessary in order to see differently, think alternatively, speak elsewise, create diversely.
