I always enjoyed art, but never considered it as an adult activity while young. It is not encouraged in our culture. After tiring of Architecture school, I began to consider being an artist. After leaving my original architectural studies, and working for a few years, I went back to college for Art. I began in painting, and ended up in sculpture.
It has been a road that has been unrewarding financially, which put some limits on my life. I have supported myself through, construction, art installation, and woodworking. I have eventually found a way to earn a living designing and producing furniture and restaurant needs. I produce art for therapy more than money, but still enjoy and produce it regularly.
I have shown in galleries in numerous US cities, and institutions as well. Most of my work is for private parties. As long as what I am doing is creative, I get a certain amount of satisfaction, and some personal growth out of it. At this point, I am most interested in working in other cultures, and am exploring the possibilities there.
