Christi Knak Tschaikowskaja is a performance and installation artist. In her concepts she deals with systematic events and works with the medium of performance as a creating medium of "living-spaces". Parallel to her artistic education at the Academy of Media Arts Cologne, she is engaged in the practice of justice and is completing her 2nd state examination in law. Systems, such as commercial concerns or a large law firm, were for her the catchment basins of her concepts and drawings. A universalism - embraced by Immanuel Kant's ideology - which fails in law, finds its exploration in her art. Since 2020, she has taken over the artistic direction of major projects on an international level.
