Żaneta Dagmara Chłostowska - Szwaczka (born in 1983, Zielona Góra, Poland)

Graduated from The Institute of Visual Arts in Zielona Góra (Poland), with degree in Painting and Photography. Her practice is painting, sculpture and mosaic. The main theme of her works is man and his existence in the time and place from which he comes from. Her work is a kind of settling down and proving that man lives in a clearly defined context, has its place in the hierarchy of beings, in the society, and in the universe. She took part in many national and international painting competitions, open-air workshops and numerous post-competition and group exhibitions.

She also had individual exhibitions in West Lancashire 'Annual Open Exhibition' in Ormskirk (United Kingdom), Burgerhaus Tetlow (Germany), Jänschwalde (Germany), Żagański Pałac Kultury (Poland), Międzyzdroje International Dom Kultury (Poland), Galeria ARP in Krasiczyn (Poland).

Her works are sold in the oldest auction houses in Poland (Desa Unicum, Sopot Auction House, Agra-Art  Auction House ). She is a co-founder of the Artistic Group "Creative Initiative of February 29", which for her is a way of conducting social research aimed at strengthening the artist's position in the society.
