Roberto Carter (San José, 1987) is a contemporary artistic painter who lives and works in Costa Rica. A medical doctor by training, he decides to explore his enthusiasm for painting and drawing after finishing his studies at medical school.
Carter won the third place at the Juannio competition (2018) in Guatemala City and has been selected to exhibit his work at the Museum of Contemporary Art and Design, Museum of Costa Rican Art, Museum of the University of Murcia (Spain), C. Rockefeller Center for the Contemporary Arts (Dresden, Germany), Ixchel Museum of Indigenous Costume (Guatemala), National Gallery of Costa Rica, Extra Gallery (Guatemala), Trama (Guatemala) among others.
He lives and works in Costa Rica and currently is participating in a group exhibition at the Museum of Contemporary Art and Design, San José, Costa Rica.
