Radu Carnariu (b. 1979) is a
multidisciplinary visual artist and art professor from Iași, who graduated BA,
MA and Doctorate in Visual Arts at the "George Enescu" University of
Arts in Iași, Romania. He is interested in the study of the social, political
and cognitive effects of critical art on the relationship between mentality,
imagination and behavior. His artistic projects ironically highlight some
contexts of these effects through paradoxical visual approaches, which aim to
challenge or change the public's awareness. He has had national solo
exhibitions in Iasi and Bucharest and international group exhibitions such as:
Art Revolution Taipei 2012, Nord Art 2013 and Nord Art 2014, European Cuteness Art-Contaminazioni
2016, Budapest Art Fair 2021, Juxtapose Art Fair 2021 and Supermarket- Stockholm
