Film is an analog limbo where I can slow down and imagine. It embraces my good intentions and even my less good intentions. In the meantime, my ideas take shape, slowly, without rushing.
The fear of being superficial pushes me to look for traces of life where apparently there aren’t any. Bread crumbs that resist against the wind and cold, but that melt like jellyfish on a hot summer rock when it comes to indifference.
I look for a photo that suggests without saying, a photo that is taken only when someone “enters” it. Without that personal look, without the complicity and imagination of someone observing, everything boils down ti images that are more or less cute.
