Luca Bosani is currently Artist in residence and Lecturer at Kensington and Chelsea College, London. In 2017 he obtained a Master in Performance Art (Contemporary Art Practice) at the Royal College Art, London. He recently presented, commissioned by Nine Elms on the South Bank and Art in Embassies (US embassy), the live performance ‘KNAVES OF RADIANCE (Bolan edition)’ as part of Nine Elms Public Art programme, London. In May 2018 he presented his first UK solo show ‘Performing the unknown’ at the Kensington and Chelsea College Gallery, London. On the same year he has been shortlisted for Bloomberg New Contemporaries 2018 and for Arte Laguna Prize 2017/2018, section Performance.
Through his practice he explores masculinity and identity in relation to stereotypical behaviour, power dynamics, violence and seduction.
