What unions and battles there are between plants, omnipresent, invasive, sublimated, living beings but also metaphors, and humans ? In the narrative thread of my work, three strands intertwine: painting, sculpture and installations, woven around a "soul": the plant. It is omnipresent in its complex patterns, perpetual transformations, movements of deployments or regressions. The focus on the metamorphoses of plants seeks to question and to think differently. The relationship between man to nature is suggested or is an integral part of the work ; for example in the sculptures which link in their forms and materials, natural and industrial, where the real is transformed into fiction. Plants fascinate me by their strategies of adaptation, autonomy, intelligence, communication, by their inestimable value for the fauna and for humans. My work mixes the sensitive and poetic approach with the political approach to provoke emotion, reflection and reaction. One finds there, the power of nature in a Darwinian perspective of naturalism and the influence of Op Art in the line games and the use of colors and optical mechanisms, in a search for vibrations, immersive painting. The juxtaposition of intense colors thwarts the naturalistic pattern as in an optical Jungle. A species of plant, main issue, expresses a phenomenon, such as optimism in the invasive Acanthus of unexploited spaces, or the Agave which in societal threat symbolizes the threat of pyramidal societies. My wish is to immerse the observer, to place him both in a situation of pleasure and reflection to raise the awareness of the inexorable temporality and the urgency to act.
