Marco Bizzarri (b. 1988, Chile) is a visual artist graduated from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. His work has been exhibited in Chile, as well as abroad. His research as an artists looks to reveal the social crisis produced by the unceasing desire for progress. His procedures have a profound connection with the current context; putting in evidence the inevitable collision between human and nature, exposing the collateral results of our own existance. That way, through the process of concealment he presents extreme situations, human dramas that we don`t see but should; this hiding functions simbolically as our own incapability to understand.
This way, through different procedures and techniques, such as painting, installation and video, Marco Bizzarris work elevates to heroes those who constantly endure, those that wait for something to grow in the middle of the ruins. That way his work is filled by problematics such as the ecollogical devastation, the human displacement or the exploitation of our natural resources.
