Read MoreI am Antonella Bergamin (Padua, 28/02/1976), I don't have an artistic background: I graduated in Communication and I have a long professional career in the Marketing area. I have rediscovered art as a form of personal rebellion. Physical and mental needs for finding myself, to break all appearances and rules in which I lived. I took a leap in the dark, and I found the light.
The path of change was difficult, fighting against the social influences that have affected my life; with my sculptures, I would like to transmit the sufficient energy to make a deep reflection about social change that is taking place.
Since 2021 I have been creating wire and recycled plastic artworks, for claiming my belonging to a tactile and materic world. My artistic investigation leads me to make compositive scaffolding that represent the contradictions of our time. The symbolism of plastic to describe our society and the ambivalence of man: good and evil, progress and involution, intelligence and limitation.
Since April 2023 I have been looking at the art world. Here below my exhibitions:
from 10th November to 13th November 2023: next group exhibition at Arte Padova 2023 art fair, with the Artemisia art association of Padua, Italy;from 26th August to 2nd September: selected at the Premio Rotonda contest in Livorno, Italy;from 26th May to 18th June 2023: solo exhibition titled
Social Metamorphosis at C.U.B.O., an exhibition space for the dissemination of contemporary art of emerging artists, curated by Beppe Bertoncello and Nicola Bertoldo, Vicenza, Italy.
