Simona Berea is a visual artist born in Romania. She rediscovered her passion for painting while practicing as a medical doctor and went back to the University in her 40’s, to study art and get a masters in Panting, focusing on the expression of emotions. Her oil paintings display mainly portraits of women and children. So far, she has two personal  and numerous group exhibitions in Romania, as well as in Paris and Venice. She has won the public with the depth of her portraits, impressing sublte features of femininity and grace. Her paintings stem from her own experience and she continues to explore the nuances of life as revealed through her perception.
