I was born
in 1978 in
Russia in a working town of Naberezhnye Chelny.
I am
married and have got four children.
Now I live
and create my works in a small town of Puschino
in Moscow Oblast.
I can say
about myself: “I am a teacher by profession but an artist by nature”.
So, I am a
completely self-taught artist, but I have got a higher education as a teacher
of English.
I have been
painting for about 20 years.
My early
works were hand painted silks or batiks.
Nowadays I
create oil paintings on canvas in different techniques
using
brushes, palette knives and sometimes my own fingers and palms.
I admire to
watch the nature, its creatures (insects, birds, flowers and animals)
and try to
convey their fragility and tenderness with the help of tiny details and unusual
colour choice.
I also love folk tales and myths, so fairies, water spirits and
other fabulous and mythological creatures
are often depicted on my silks and
canvases.
I sometimes
invent my own enchanted and fantastic flowers, trees and beasts,
make up a
plot and paint everything.
I strongly
feel that everything in the world is connected to each other
and we
should love each other as well as our planet and protect our Mother Earth.
