Alessandra BB (b. 1986) is a Belarusian artist residing in Spain. She works in a wide range of media, including oil painting, installations using recycled fabrics and clothing, and performance. Her work explores themes of identity, memory, corporeality, social taboos, and sexuality.
With a background in fashion design (IED, Barcelona, 2008) and experience in the fashion industry, Alessandra has a deep understanding of the social pressures related to beauty and identity. In her works, she often uses the nudity of body as a symbol of freedom, revealing vulnerability and authenticity, challenging stereotypes, and transcending fashion standards. Alessandra aims to uncover the true aspects of human nature, encouraging viewers to reflect on acceptance, transformation, and interconnectedness.
