In her complex and mysterious digital collages, the artist deals with the contradictions of human existence. Her works open the room for the viewer’s own interpretation and due to their complexity there is always something new to discover.
Her professional background is architecture, in which for a decade she pursued a career in leading international projects. Architecture is now visually reflected in her works of art and can also be felt in her love for materiality.
Bianca Artopé has developed a unique technique in which she prints her collages on silver leaf and casts them in epoxy resin. This way, the digital is transformed into a very haptic original work. It reflects the light in an amazing way and lets the work appear differently from every point of view. With this technique she made herself a name in the art world.
In addition to her collages, Bianca Artopé has also received several art awards for her conceptual video, sound and spacial installations.
Her works are mostly owned by private collectors in Europe, Asia and the USA.
