Angelica Pedini graduates in Academy of Fine Arts of Brera in painting decoration in 1991 with the master and professor Giovanni Repossi's guidance. She starts her artistic research studying in deep the veiled watercolor technique to come to the fresco technique, practiced for over 15 years. In this period of time she realizes painting cycles of wide dimensions for internal and external committed by public and private bodies. The fresco technique brings Angelica Pedini to be fast and immediate in her brush strokes, and to paint on wide dimensions and on raw materials. After these Angelica creates oil and jute paintings with metallic inserts on which she explores the strong light contrasts with plastic concreteness on the figurative subjects. These are plastic and harmonic hints where she inserts metals like copper, gold, and silver, giving to the whole contest a decorative impact with a strong symbolic value while dealing with social themes as Human Rights. She cooperates since a long time with the scenographer Domenico Franchi, realizing pictorial and staging projects for some import institutions as Palazzo Reale Milano, for Brescia Grandi Eventi, Teatro Grande Brescia, and Festival d’Autumne Paris. In April 2018 she participated in the New York ART EXPO in the CONTEMPLY Italian pavilion with "NATIVE."
